Immersion Day
On an Immersion Day, delegates experience a whole school approach to relational and restorative practice in a mainstream through school (ages 2-19) and identify how relational and restorative practice can support their setting moving forward.
Delegates join our SLT circle, staff circles and pupil coaching circles (primary or secondary). They speak with senior staff and children about their experience of school and the way our values are embodied in practice. They see and hear how we work with SEND, Safeguarding, Inclusion and Curriculum teams to deliver progress.
What an Immersion Day looks like
Immersion Days usually run from 7.40am – 4.00pm, with lunch and refreshments provided.
The Immersion Days can have a particular focus, for example, SEND, autism in schools, curriculum and inclusion (behaviour and attitudes).
The Immersion Day experience
Our Immersion Days are interactive and thought-provoking, giving you the opportunity to speak to staff and pupils at our school. Below you can see examples of previous Immersion Days in both phases.
